Alma Jean Small – Smith

October 3, 1938 – September 25, 2022

A Life Lived Full of Adventure

On September 25, 2022, Alma Jean Small- Smith, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away peacefully in the City of Van, TX. Alma is survived by her loving children Karen Bass, Terry Murtha, and Bret Mason. Grandchildren Erin Nichols, Lauren Murtha, Matt Murtha, and Rachel Martinson. Great grandchildren Parker Nichols, Mason Bartoszek, and Jack Murtha, along with her brother George Small. Alma was known as a generous, light hearted, and compassionate soul. She loved the simple things in life and always had a smile on her face. She would sing and praise the Lord. Her family was her favorite people to be around.

She will be greatly missed by her loving family and always remembered in their hearts.

We are sincerely grateful to the many friends who have given us support and comfort during this time of loss.
