Barbara Nell Herrera, 71, of Bullard, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday afternoon, August 16, 2025. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday afternoon, October 4, 2025, at Boren-Conner Funeral Home in Bullard, to begin at 2:00pm. Rev. Justin Wells will officiate the service.

Barbara was born in Palestine, Texas, on March 19, 1954, to parents Bennie and Sarah Swann. Barbara worked in retail. She worked hard to provide for her family - whom she loved dearly. Barbara will be missed by all.

Barbara is preceded in by her parents Bennie Thomas Swann and Sarah Oneita Driskell Swann.

Barbara is survived by her Sister Benita Vaughn and husband David and their children John Jowers (children Heidi, Matthew and John). Jeremy Jowers (girlfriend Makayla) and Samantha Blackwell (husband Jason and children Allie, Ryan and Evie), Son, Benjamin Herrera and wife Courtney, Granddaughter, Ellie Hudson and husband Thomas Looper, Grandson, Anthony Herrera, and Son, Joshua Herrera.
