Berna Rae Younger, 79, of Flint, passed away at her home on Thursday afternoon, May 22, 2025. A Funeral Ceremony will be held on Thursday afternoon, May 29, 2025, at Mt. Selman United Methodist Church, to begin at 2:00pm. A visitiation will begin at 1:00pm at the church prior to the service. Rev. Matthew Thomas will officate the service. Interment will be at Bullard Memorial Cemetery following the service.

Berna was born in San Jose, California, on June 3, 1945, to parents Bernard and Marquerite Souza. Berna was an accountant who worked hard to provide a loving home to her family. Berna was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, aunt, and friend to many.

Berna is preceded by her Father, Bernard Souza, Mother, Marquerite Souza, Husband, Terry Lathern Younger, and step son, Christopher Younger.

Berna is survived by her Daughter, Bernadette Lee Creswell, Daughter, Suzette Martin, son-inlaw, Gregory Martin, Brother, Richard Souza, Grandson, Jacob Ziegler, Granddaughter, Jessica Amaral, Grandson, Nicholas Martin, Granddaughter, Ember Martin, Grandson, Jared Martin, Great-Grandchildren, Alex, Drew, Isaac, Finley, and Eloise.
