Betty Marguerette Murphy

Born – April 12, 1934 in Sabin County, TX

Died – August 19, 2021 at Home in Tecula, TX

She enjoyed being a wife and mother. She enjoyed her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren by taking care of everybody. She loved sewing and quilting. She was a member of Blackjack Baptist Church and loved getting together with all the ladies of the church.

Proceeded in death by her husband Robert Lee Murphy and granddaughter Lisa Thurman.

Survivors include –

Children: Penola Thurman, Peggy Murphy, and Pam McCabe

Grandchildren: Ben Thurman, Tammy Chapman, Ed Thurman, Rebecca Mueller, Robert Acker, Dustin McCabe, and Laken McCabe

Great Grandchildren: 7 girls and 6 boys

Officiating – Bro. David Jimerson and Bro. David Erickson

Interment will be at Tecula Cemetery

Pallbearers: Robert Acker, Dustin McCabe, Robert Bauer, and Roy Woodcock Jr.

Lunch will be provided at Blackjack Baptist Church after graveside service
