Betty Sue Johnson Fonville (aka  “Momma,” or "Sue Sue") went to be with the lord july. 18, 2022, passing away suddenly and peacefully in her home in Bullard Texas.

Betty was born on Oct. 21, 1939 in Lubbock Tx., to George and Jessie Johnson — Betty attended Texas Tech in Lubbock Texas, where she met her one true love John Thomas Fonville. 

They were happily married on March 18, 1959. Betty then devoted much of her life to sewing, Reading, working in her flower garden and taking care of her family.

Betty never met a stranger, She always remembered your name, treated you with respect. She looked forward to a call from her granddaughter, a phone call from her son and beautiful, life-affirming memories shared with her husband of over 63 years. Betty, cherished her life and family.

Those left to honor her memory include her loving husband, John Fonville of Bullard; Keith Fonville and wife Karan Fonville of Bullard and Granddaughter Kayla Fonville Ramos and Husband Corbin Ramos of Marysville Washington. Her Sister Frances Armstrong  of North Carolina, and several Nieces and Nephews.

Those Family Members proceeded her in Death:Her Father and Mother, George and Jessie Johnson. Her Siblings; Earl Johnson, Wayne Johnson, Ray Johnson, Irene Andrews.

Funeral services will be 10:00a.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Boren-Conner Funeral Home in Bullard Texas.
