Bettye Jean Taylor, 95, of Jacksonville, was born on March 15, 1928 and was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on May 22, 2023. A graveside service will held on Friday, May 26th, at Earles Chapel Cemetery, to begin a 4:00pm. A viewing will begin in the cemetery at 3:30pm - prior to the service.

Preceded in death by parents Cecil Clark and Willie Faye Sandefer, brothers Cecil Sandefer Jr., Billy Sandefer, Bobby Sandefer and Gaylon Sandefer, one sister Peggy Lasabbe, sons Billy Lee Hardcastle, Kenneth Taylor and daughter Kathy Taylor.

Left to treasure her memory are son Robert Taylor and wife Kim, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Bettye was a longtime resident of Jacksonville, Texas. She attended the Trail to Christ Cowboy Church in her later years. Bettye worked at Discount City in Jacksonville, Texas, Flowers-n-Things in Rusk, Texas and was a caregiver to her son Ken for over 15 years.

Special thanks to her niece Leah Sandefer Weaver, great niece Kelly Hall and great great niece Brittani Halbert for their tiresome care and love until the very end.
