A memorial will be held Saturday at 2pm February 6  at Rock Hill Baptist Church West Campus for Billy Ray of Troup. He passed away peacefully Wednesday February 3, 2021 in a Tyler hospital. He was born September 5, 1939 to Horace and Mildred Ray in Eustace, Texas.

Billy was preceded in death by parents and a son, Kent Ray.

Billy is survived by his wife, Sylvia and a son, Scott Ray and wife Patricia. A sister Peggy Day and husband Jack. Grandchildren, Shelby Ray, Jonathan Ray and Keith Ray.

Billy was a navy veteran and retired from GE/Trane .
