Billy Roy Coe, age 95, resident of Winnsboro, Texas passed away on October 27, 2024. He was born September 3, 1929 to Roy Thomas Coe and Maudie Dee Barnett of Winnsboro, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents Roy Thomas and Maudie Dee Coe, brothers Johnny and Wayne Coe, and son Barry Coe.
He is survived by his son Ronald Coe, sister Mary Jo Gittiban, daughter-in-law Vivian Coe, grandsons Shane (Suzanne) Coe, and Brian Coe, great grandchildren Austin, Jackson, Aubrey Renee, and Maddox Coe, nieces Lisa (Terrence) Christie, Michelle Holmes (Ryan Smith), nephews Brian (Melanie) Gittiban, John Wayne Coe, and Tyrone Coe, and cousin Robert Darby (Carolyn).
Billy spent most of his life as a Professional Truck Driver. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and was a Godsend when it came to the love and care for animals. Billy frequented local businesses in Winnsboro and was well known at Brookshire's Grocery Store, The First National Bank, Barber Shop, Pharmacy, etc.
A special thank you to his sister Mary Jo, nieces Lisa and Michelle, and nephew Brian for their love and care helping with transportation to doctor appointments, picking up medications, and daily care, to his cousin Robert and partner Carolyn for being caregivers to Billy and sharing their love, and finally to Ronald's friends and former co-workers Jeff Zimmerman, David Finney, Ken Brumley, and Rodney Whitter for stepping in and providing transportation to appointments, providing meals, and their friendship until the end.
Billy was cremated and a graveside service with family and friends will be held at Cypress Cemetery Franklin County, Texas at a later date.
