Carl David Lintner, 53, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026, at Bluebonnet Point Wellness in Bullard, Texas.
A celebration of life will be held this spring at Whitehouse Methodist Church in Whitehouse, TX.
Carl was deeply loved by his family. He is survived by his parents, Patti and Gary Lintner; his brother, Max Lintner, and his family—wife Michelle and son Jude; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Born in Wichita Falls, Texas, Carl lived most of his life in Whitehouse, Texas. He graduated from Whitehouse High School and went on to attend Texas A&M University, where he earned his Master of Architecture degree in 1999. He was named to the Dean's List from 1990 to 1993 and was a member of Tau Sigma Honor Fraternity.
Carl provided professional services in architecture, planning, environmental, and graphic design at HKS in Dallas, as well as with firms in North and South Carolina.
Carl loved music. He had a beautiful voice and played both bass and guitar. Through high school and college, he was always part of a band. An avid home brewer, Carl spent his later years skillfully crafting numerous batches of home-brewed beer that he shared with friends, family, and neighbors.
Known for his warm smile and joyful spirit, Carl was always ready for fun. He remained cheerful and uncomplaining through life's challenges and is remembered by his many friends as a kind and loving soul.
Memorial contributions in Carl's honor may be made to The Hospice of East Texas or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
