Graveside services for Carolyn Sue Chandler, age 65, of Jacksonville will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 2:30 P.M., at Earle's Chapel Cemetery in Jacksonville. Visitation will be 2:00 until 2:30 at the gravesite.
Carolyn was born April 11, 1959 in Jacksonville and had resided there her entire life. She had a huge heart filled with love for her family and friends. She always put others first and was the most generous person to those in her life. Her family was beyond blessed to have such a wonderful Mom/Grandma/sister and aunt. She was happiest with the simple things in life including being surrounded by her loved ones. She always had a smile and could make you laugh even when she wasn't at her best.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Margie and Roy Lee Morris, Sr., one brother, David Morris, two sisters, Alice Claiborne and Martha Jeffries, and a sister-in-law Debbie Morris.
She is survived by her daughter, Margie Hernandez, her son, Willie Tant, her grandsons, Raymundo Rant and Gilberto Ellis, her great granddaughter, Harley Bass and great grandson, Elijah Tant, her brothers, Roy Lee Morris, Jr., Kevin Morris and Ronnie Morris and wife, Melissa Morris and a sister-in-law, Margaret Morris and brother-in-law, Charlie Claiborne and many nieces, nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Raymundo Tant, Ronnie Morris, Charlie Claiborne, James Crane, Randy Reed, Caleb Crane, Marvin Blake, Aaron Crane, Jose Pizano and Jesus Morris.
