Carolyn Sue Daniels

Carolyn Sue Daniels, of Chapel Hill, Texas, passed away on November 05, 2025, at the age of 72. She was born in Big Sandy, Texas on September 1, 1953.

Carolyn was so many things to each of us; a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and a friend.

Carolyn was caring, sassy, and full of love. She had a way of making everyone feel welcome and at home. Whether you were family by blood or family by heart she had a way of making you feel loved. She adored her boys, her grandkids and her great grandkids.

She was happy sitting by and watching her kids rope, something she was very familiar with as she spent many years team penning and barrel racing. Or watching the grand kids in seasonal sports.

She herself had many years and awards earned on the basketball court. She loved good country music and made sure all her 3 of her boys knew how to dance almost as well as she could.

She enjoyed her every Friday shopping trip with her sister Barbara and always made sure she made it home safe with a phone call, "Did you make it home yet?".

She loved adventure, whether it was a trip to the beach or a getaway to Broken Bow. Wherever she went, Memories were made.

Carolyn had a special gift — she was a mother and a Granny to everyone she met. She had that rare ability to make people feel like one of her own. Her love was steady, her laughter contagious, and her sass unforgettable.

Though we will miss her deeply, we carry her with us —Carolyn’s love doesn’t end here; it lives on in all of us.

Carolyn is preceded by her Father, Johnnie Smith Green, Mother, Helen Louise, Son, Mark Allen Day, Brother, Charles Ray Green, Brother, John  Green, Brother, Victor  Green, and Sister, Catherine Adair.
