Charles Key

Bubba Key was a husband, a father, a son, a brother, a pawpaw, a co-worker, but to most, he was a friend. Bubba loved his family and would do anything for them. He retired from TDCJ and then went on to Cherokee County Sheriff Department. Throughout the years he was also well known for working on anything with an engine. Most folks that knew him have a lawn mower that still runs today because he worked on it. He always had time to help someone in need. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his Harley Davidson. Most of the time Bubba was a man of few words but he meant what he said. Bubba was a good man and the world is a little better for him being in it.

Funeral Services are schedules to be held on Monday, 3/20/2023, at Oakland Missionary Baptist Church, to begin at 11:00am. There will be a visitation held in the church to begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Old Palestine Cemetery.
