Cheryl Lee (Foster) Browning, age 68, of Chandler, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born on October 17, 1957, in Collin County, Texas, she was the daughter of Billy Wayne Foster and Elizabeth Ada (McGown) Foster.
Cheryl graduated from North Garland High School and went on to spend many years in factory and assembly line work, while also becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant. Beyond her professional life, she was a devoted wife and mother whose greatest achievement and proudest joy was raising her children.
She married her late husband, James Browning, in 2000, and together they shared 24 wonderful years of love, partnership, and family life.
Known for her warm spirit, Cheryl loved reading, cooking, being with family, and was known for her quick wit, charisma, and was a force to be reckoned with.
She is survived by her children – Elizabeth Ashley Mann, Arianne Michelle Mann, and Aaron Michael Mann, and her grandchildren – Jamie Lee Mann, Aryanna Rosalee Barnes, Ayden Alexander Barnes, Roy William Mann, and Elijah Aaron Jack Henderson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Liz Foster, her brother, Jubal Foster, and her husband, James Browning.
A Celebration of Life event will be held on September 5, 2026, at 11:00 AM (Central Time Zone) at West Lake Baptist Church – 1439 FM 315 S, Chandler, Texas, 75758.
