Christopher “Chris” Raymond Lee, 48, of Fruitvale Tx, passed away December 6, 2024, in Tyler Tx. He was born June 1, 1976 in Lubbock, TX to Olen Ray Lee and Linda Isham Lee.
Chris was a hard-working man. He was a “hard rock 80’s hair band” lover. Chris was a great cook on the grill, loved coffee and was a Gemini. Chris was a Grand Master with a 6th DAN Black Belt in Aikijutsu, a Master with a 5th DAN Black Belt in Taekwondo and a Master of Tai Chi. He was inducted into the Martial Arts Hall of Fame in Los Angeles, California in 2007. He loved to teach Martial arts. He loved watching martial arts movies, spending time with his grandchildren and working on electronics. Chris was a Die hard Notre Dame Football fan and a jack of all trades. He had a huge heart and loved helping others. Although he was quiet man he was someone you could go to and he’d have a listening ear and always knew the right thing to say to you.
Chris is preceded in death by his father, Olen Ray Lee; grandmother, Rachel Duncan; grandfather, Charles Amon “Papa Tex” Isham. He is survived by his daughter, Sara Allsup and Cody Miller; son, Zerik and Rachel Lee; mother and stepfather, Linda and Edward Sisson; brother, David and Tania Lee; four grandchildren: Marissa, Rayland, Lylah and Abel; and many friends and family.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
