Services for Commer E. Beam, age 82, of Bullard, will be held at the Flint Cemetery, Flint, Texas on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at 10 a.m. with Bro. Jason Taylor officiating under the direction of Boren-Conner Funeral Home Bullard.

Commer was born on September 28, 1940, in Tyler, TX to Commer Sr. and Narzetta Beam. Commer was their only child and their pride and joy. After graduating High School, he worked for Brookshire Grocery Store as a butcher and was meat market manager for Brookshire Grocery Store at several differant locations in Tyler. He worked at Brookshire's for over 40 years before he retired. He also owned and operated a Bullard Quick Stop in Bullard, Texas. Commer passed at his hme residence on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 only 23 days after loosing his wife of 61 years Pat, the love of his life. He was known as Sonny and Paw Commer.

Mr. Beam was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Teresa Beam, Grandchildren Kolton Beam, Kristin Beam Hadjison, Step grandchildren, Trent & Ashton Edney and Colby Edney, Great-grandchildren Wade and Weston Hadjison.

Pallbearers will be Kolton Beam, Luis Hernandez, Justin Hill, Greg McKeethan, Scott McKeethan, Mike Harris and Trent Edney.
