Dan Allen Bridges of Flint, TX passed away on July 5th at Hospice of East Texas from
Pancreatic Cancer at the young age of 54.
Dan was born on May 16, 1968 in Houston, TX. He was a graduate of Chapel Hill High School,
Tyler, TX in 1986.
In his younger years he took classes for motorcycle mechanics and worked as a draftsman, but
soon found his passion of driving an 18-wheeler, he loved being able to see the world. After
many years went by, he finally purchased his own first big rig in 2021 he named his company
“Texas Patriot Logistics”. Motorcycles were still a passion too, his favorite ride was driving his
Hayabusa on the million mile highway in Colorado and taking his Jeep in the mountains as well.
Dan was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, friend, and a man of God, who will be
profoundly missed by those he left behind on this Earth. We have peace knowing that he is no
longer in pain and is in heaven rejoicing with Jesus and his Dad. Dan prayed to find a way to be
with his family, although this was not the way he thought, he was able to spend time with his
family and knew he’d be in heaven soon. He said either way, it will be a win-win.
