David Jeffrey Clark, 58, of Henderson, Texas passed away on May 16, 2017 at ETMC in Tyler, Texas.
The memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on May 18, 2017 at Boren-Conner Funeral Home in Bullard, Texas. Remembrance reception to follow onsite at 51825 US69, Bullard, Texas 75757.
Jeff was born in Fairfax, Virginia to father Christopher Weldy Clark and mother Ida Rose Brockman.
Jeff, also known as Bodine, was the quintessential Jack-of-all-trades but was known best as a creatively gifted carpenter and handyman. Jeff loved and lived life to the fullest, never looking back, nor forward, only living in the moment. Jeff exemplified the adage that you cannot judge a book by its cover: big, burly, loud and largely uncouth, he was the epitome of a walking talking teddy bear. Jeff loved people and judged others for their heart and current actions, not their past. While he was not particularly religious, he was intensely spiritual. Walking a path that only a handful can see, he was a warrior in a battle best left to the fearless. An avid fisherman, he would have lived on the coast, especially in Palacios, until the end of his time.
Jeff is survived by his Soulmate Candace Garcia; son Joshua Allen Clark; brothers Greg Clark and spouse Kathleen, Ken Clark and spouse Toni, Dan Clark and spouse Cricket, Stephen Clark and spouse Lydia; sisters Pamela Clark and spouse Tim Fox, Theresa Broussard and spouse Jessie, Julie Clark, and Debra Foxworth and spouse Brent and sister-in-law Sandy Clark, spouse of the late brother Christopher Bruce Clark; 20 nieces/nephews, 22 great nieces/nephews, 1 great-great niece, several cousins, and too many friends because he never met a stranger.
Jeff is preceded in death by his parents, Christopher Clark and Ida Rose Clark, brother Christopher Bruce Clark, wife Kathy Clark and son Cody.
