David Wayne Harmon, 63, of Palestine, Texas (formerly of Amarillo, Texas), passed away on January 28, 2020.  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2020­­ at Hillside Christian Church West Campus, 6100 Soncy Road, Amarillo, Texas 79119. 

David was born in Yuma, Arizona on August 16, 1956 to June and Len Harmon.  He graduated from Caprock High School and attended Amarillo College.  David was married to Ragenia Brundige on March 21, 1982.

David worked in the flooring industry for many years, from installation to sales to management.  When he wasn’t working, he spent his free time doing home improvement and maintenance, and he enjoyed fishing, woodworking, listening to music, and watching movies.

David is survived by his mother June, wife Ragenia, son Brett, daughter Shawna, son-in-law Hector, grandchildren Jake and Katie, and other family and friends.

David is preceded in death by his father Len, sister Sherry, and brother Ray.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Wounded Warrior Project, or the SPCA.
