Ms. Deborah (Debbie) Gaston Shirley, of Troup Tx, entered into a glorious eternity October 22, 2024. She was born in Henderson TX on April 30, 1951 to James Gaston and Jewel Dove Brown. 

Debbie was loved by all who knew her; and she loved her people well. Her perseverance, love for Jesus & her sons, and her decades of playing piano in church are what she’ll be remembered for. 

Ms. Shirley was preceded in death by her youngest son, Chase Shirley. She is survived by son, Chris Shirley, of Hallsville TX, brother, Edwin Gaston, of Brachfield TX, bonus son, Michael Jones, of Hennessey OK, numerous nieces and nephews, and a multitude of family & friends who will miss her tremendously. 

A celebration of Debbie’s life will be held November 2, 2024 at The Gospel Barn, 22160 Hwy 110S, Troup TX at 2:00pm, with a time of visitation beginning at noon.
