Diane Hodges, age 79, of Richardson, TX, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on August 29, 2025. She was born in Tyler, TX on January 16, 1946 and grew up on the lake in Jacksonville, TX. While a student at Texas Woman’s University, Diane traveled to Germany with the USO in the Choraliers. She was Senior class president with Ruby Shaw as her best friend and Vice President. She graduated in 1968. She was married to Butler Dublin, and their daughter D’Ann Dublin was born in 1975. Diane began her career as a public school teacher and retired from Inwood Bank as the Vice President of Human Resources in 2011. She later married Terry Hodges and gained stepsons, Craig and Doug Henwood. She had a passion for volunteering and spent her free time at the Richardson Adult Learning Center. She taught English to immigrants seeking citizenship and worked hard behind the scenes doing anything that was needed. Diane dearly loved her grandsons, Grayson and Gavin Trigg, who she was absolutely devoted to. She was survived by her daughter and grandsons, as well as her sister, GeorgAnne. The family was supported by the care and kindness of Remarkable Hospice in Richardson, TX. Contributions in her name would be appreciated at the Richardson Adult Learning Center.
