Donna Latham O’Connor, 76, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025, in Tyler, Texas, surrounded by family. Born on September 23, 1949, in Sherman, Texas, Donna lived a life defined by generosity, warmth, and an unwavering devotion to those she loved. She was a mother, sister, and friend who never hesitated to give the shirt off her back to anyone in need.
Donna began her professional journey as a jewelry buyer for renowned brands such as Givenchy, Guess, and Monet, where her keen eye for beauty and style shone brightly. Later in life, her passion for cooking inspired her to start a successful catering business, bringing joy and flavor to countless gatherings. Seven years ago, Donna moved to Tyler to be closer to her daughter and family, a decision that enriched her final years with love and connection.
She is survived by her daughter, Teri Latham Garcia, and her children, Abigail and Walker Garcia; son-in-law Marc Alvarado and children, Aleczandria and Joe Wienandt, and Trevor and Sherilee Alvarado; and two great-grandchildren. Donna also leaves behind her brother Rhamy Morrison and wife Peggy, her sister Debbie Pike, and many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, William Rhamy and Faye Morrison, her brother David L. Morrison, and daughter Kari Latham Alvarado.
