Dorothy Ann Tipton, 74, Jacksonville, passed away Wednesday morning, March 12, 2025. A Graveside service will be held Saturday morning, at Myrtle Springs Cemetery in Ponta, to begin at 10:00am. Darrell Dement will officiate the service.

Dorothy was born in Jacksonville, Texas, on January 7, 1951, to parents Everett and Ruby Chandler. Dorothy spent many years caring for the needs of others as she served as a Nurse. Dorothy cherished her family - she was a mother, wife, daughter, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many.

She is preceded by her Father, Everett Chandler and Mother, Ruby Chandler.

She is survived by her Husband, Ricky Derris Tipton, Son, Gary Wayne Tipton, Son, Michael Gene Tipton, Sister, Mary Mayo, Granddaughter, Megan Tipton, Grandson, Ethan Isaacks, Granddaughter, Chelsea Isaacks, Granddaughter, Jessica Tipton, and 4 great=grandchildren.
