Eddie Lisenby, age 83, passed away peacefully September 14, 2026, in Tyler, Texas. He was born July 24, 1943, to Jack Roy Lisenby and Emily "Mittie" Thornton Lisenby in Kirbyville, Texas. Eddie is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jane Moore Lisenby, and his daughters Brenda Lisenby, Windy Cannon (James), and Robin Nash (Greg), and his grandson James Alan Cannon (Astrid). A carpenter by trade, Eddie worked hard, provided for his family, enjoyed trotline fishing in southeast Texas rivers, motorcycle trail riding, and was known to be able to fix anything. He was loyal to his family and was always ready to help and to have fun. His steady spirit will be deeply missed. There will be a graveside memorial service at Restlawn Cemetery, Vidor, Texas, at a later date.
