Edward James Henderson

Graveside services for Edward James Henderson, age 86, of Mineola will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday morning at the Mixon Cemetery with Mark Wilgus officiating. 

Edward Henderson was born July 3, 1934 in Poyner, Texas to Virgil and Hazel Holloway Henderson.  He was a Baptist and had retired from Kelly Springfield Tire Company. 

Edward passed away on January 29, 2021 in Tyler, Texas.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Lois in 2019, a son James Henderson and his sister, Hazel Cooey.

Edward is survived by his daughter, Karen and son-in-law, Mark Wilgus of Brownsboro, two grandchildren, Trevor and Jenifer Childs of Benton, Arkansas and Tessa West of Tyler,

Great grandchildren, Alayna Boyd, Gabriel Childs, Taylor Reese Childs, Brooklyn Childs, Braydon McDade and soon to be born David West.

Visitation will be from 10:30 Tuesday morning until service time at the cemetery.
