Elece Stephens, 104, of Troup, passed away Wednesday evening, February 5, 2025. A Life Celebration will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at First Methodist Church in Troup, to begin at 11:00am. Bro. Steven Oakes will officiate the service.

Elece was born in Jacksonville, Texas, December 30, 1920, to parents Robert and Dora Trantham. Elece worked in retail and was proud to have obtained a bachelors degree as part of her education. Elece was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many.

She is preceded by her Husband, HJ Stephens, Father, Robert Ellis Trantham, Mother, Dora Trantham, Sister, Bobbye Burroughs, Sister, Flo Renta, Sister, Jane Simoneaux, and Son, Michael Stephens.

She is survived by her Daughter, Gayle McDonald (Mike), Grandson, Matthew Martin (Angelica), Grandson, Brandon Martin (Story), Granddaughter, Stacey Crabtree (Brian), Granddaughter, Stephanie Dingler, Grandson, Waymond Stephens (Micah), Granddaughter, Megan Stephens, and Great-Grandchildren, Dezirea, Clayton, Colton, Case, Knox, Maverick, Sienna, Sawyer, Paizley, and Brennan.
