Gynell Grimes Beddingfield of Bullard entered the gates of heaven the evening of January 21, 2023 with her loving family by her side.
Gynell was born to Earl and Omega Grimes on March 2, 1936. She was the youngest of 4 children. She married the love of her life, Carroll “Curley” Beddingfield on April 24, 1954. Together she and Curley welcomed 4 daughters. Gynell was active in the girls’ lives and served as President of the PTA earning a lifetime achievement award while living in Dallas. She moved to East Texas in 1973 fulfilling her husband’s lifelong dream of coming home. Gynell retired from MP Industries after over 30 years as their office manager. She was an active board member of Flint Community Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sister and her beloved husband.
Left to cherish Gynell’s memory are many relatives including her daughters and sons-in-laws:

Sheri and Rock Spraggins
Sheila and Doug Courson; Sisters in law Mattie Beddingfield and Daveda Beddingfield. “Granny” is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rev Roy Thoene will be officiating services on Thursday, January 26th 2023, at Boren-Conner Funeral Home in Bullard. Services will begin at 11:00am. Visitation will begin 1 hour prior the service. Burial will be in Flint Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Frank, Danny, Bryan and Rusty Wilson, Steve Jackson and Glenn Davenport.
