Hazel Nell Jernigan, 93, of Whitehouse, passed away peacefully on Sunday afternoon, Decemebr 29, 2024. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, January 6, 2025, at Whitehouse Cemetery, to begin at 2:00pm. Raymond Graham will officate the service under the direction of Boren-Conner Funeral Home.
Hazel was born in Smith County, Texas, to parents to Robert and Nellie Jane Jones. Hazel was a Bookkeeper by trade.
She is preceeded in passing by her Father, Robert Jones, Mother, Nellie Jane Jones, Husband, Paul Jernigan, Brother, Robert Jones, Jr., Brother, Richard Jones, Sister, Katie Dickey Jones, Sister, Charline Williams, and Sister, Roberta McCullough.
She is survived by her Son, Terry Dwayne Jernigan (Anita), Daughter, Paula Jean Stanley, Daughter, Sheila Janell Shelton (Tim), Brother, Rex Jones, Sister, Lois Hopkins, Grandson, Lance Stanley (Karas), Granddaughter, Cherri Dorsey (Kevin), Granddaughter, Krystal Ehrler (James), Granddaughter, Sara Moreno (Chirs), Grandson, Jeremy Jernigan (Tammy), Grandson, Jerome Jernigan (Janet), Great-Grandson, Holton Dorsey, Great- Grandson, Dagan Dorsey (Roshni), Great-granddaughter, Leigha Stanley, Great-granddaughter, Taylor Stanley, Great-grandson, Brady Shelton, Great-granddaughter, Mieke Ehrler, Great-granddaughter, Emma Ehrler, Great-granddaughter, Kinley Moreno, Great-grandson, Joshua Jernigan, Great-grandson, Caleb Jernigan, and Great-grandson, Derek Jernigan (Melissa).
