Helen Ruth Gideon, passed away on April 14, 2022, and was born October 15, 1931 to Buck and Ruth Freeman in Whitehouse, Texas. She attended Whitehouse Schools. Helen married Charles Gideon on July 7, 1950. She worked for American Clay in Tyler for many years. In her free time she loved to cook, sew, and work out in her yard. Most of all she loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents Buck and Ruth Freeman, her husband Charles Gideon, son Michael Gideon, grandson Ryan Whitting, son in law Dennis Willmon, sisters Jackie Clayton, Billie Bailey, Jane Bland, Alice Nell Freeman, and brother Weldon Freeman. She is survived by son Gary Gideon of Tyler, daughters Diane Willmon and Joey of Lindale, and Sue Whitting and husband Ross of Whitehouse, 17 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 14 great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers: Devery Freeman, Justin Collier, Cody Jackson, Ken Prater, Jason Carlile, Brad Whitting, and Michael Gideon. Honorary pallbearers are: Brandon Collier, Brian Collier, Jonathan Gideon, Todd Whitting, and Mark Willmon. The family would like to thank her nurses Barbie and Holly for taking such great care of her the last few years, 

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday April 19th at 1:00pm at Tyler Memorial Cemetery. There will be a visition on Monday, April 18th, at Boren-Conner Funeral Home in Bullard from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. Brother Sherman Mayfield will officiate.
