James Francis Maher, 78, of Chandler, passed away on Saturday evening, April 18, 2026. A Funeral Ceremony will be held on Saturday morning, April 25, 2026, at Boren-Conner Funeral Home in Bullard, Texas, to begin at 11:00am. A visitation will begin at 10:00am prior to the service. Deacon John Ragland will officiate the service. Interment will be at Bullard Memorial Cemetery. 

James was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, on April 24, 1947, to parents James and Gertrude Maher. James served his country for over 23 years as a proud Navy veteran. James was a skilled Aviation Mechanic. James was a husband, father, brother, son, grandfather, and friend to many. James loved his family dearly - and he will be missed by all.

James is preceded by his Father, James Edward Maher, Mother, Gertrude Catherine Maher, Brother, Paul Joseph Maher, Sister, Mary Ellen Peebles, and Good Friend, John George.

James is survived by his Wife, Patricia Dianne Maher, Son, John William Shea, Son, Patrick Michael Shea, Brother, Richard Thomas Maher, Grandson, Patrick William Shea, Grandson, David Liam Shea, Granddaughter, Lucinda Erin Shea, Granddaughter, Caitlin Shea, and Good Friend, Hannelore George.
