James “Jim” Dean Rouse, SR

September 18, 1942 – August 12, 2021

James “Jim” Dean Rouse, SR was born to Willis Icett Rouse and Minnie Adams in Denver, Colorado on September 18, 1942. Jim served in the United States Army in the 82nd Airborne Division as an Expert Sharpshooter until 1964.  He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family, and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Jim was preceded in death by his sister, Virginia Hull. Surviving siblings are Bernie McGee, Jeff Rouse, Paul Rouse, Bill Rouse, Roy Rouse, Elizabeth Davenport and David Rouse. He is survived by his loving wife, “Swee Pea”, Terry Burch, his children, James Dean Rouse, JR, Ike Rouse, Virginia Rouse, Jenna Burch, and Jordan Yin, his grandchildren, great grandchildren and his dog, B-Line. Memorial Services to honor Jim will be 11 A.M. Saturday September 18, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
