James Wesley May, 74, of Henderson, passed away on Wednesday evening, March 5, 2025, at his residence. A Graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Union Chapel Cemetery, to begin at 2:30pm. A viewing will begin a 2:00pm, in the cemetery prior to the service.

James was born in Snyder, Texas, March 19, 1950, to parents Willie and Mary May. James was proud to have obtained a Bachelors degree as part of his education. James was a respected Oil Field Mechanic and Restaurant owner during his working years. James was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. James was a husband, father, son, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend to many.

James is preceded by his Father, Willie John May, Mother, Mary Ellen May, Wife, Onita May, Sister, Cynthia Coleman, Sister, Margie May, and Granddaughter, Cheyenne May.

He is survived by his Son, James Anthony May (Kimberly), Son, Chuch Dewayne May, Daughter, Joyce Ann May, Brother, Benny May, Brother, Willie May, Brother, Kenneth May, Sister, Elizabeth Brandon, 7 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
