Jimmie Crossland Finn, 71, of Tyler, passed away on November 5, 2023.

She was born on June 20, 1951, in Tyler, Texas, to Helyn Neola Jenkins and James Howard Crossland.

Jimmie graduated from Robert E. Lee High School and Stephen F. Austin State University. She had a love for crafting and blessing others with her talents. She had an admiration for horseback riding and the mountains. Jimmie had compassion for the less fortunate and often spent her days supporting those in need.

Jimmie was preceded in death by her parents, and her devoted son, Robert Henry Finn Jr.

Survivors of Jimmie include her sister, Nancy Crossland Kelly of Tyler; brother-in-law, Brodie Scott Kelly of Tyler; brother, Wesley Hunter Crossland of Dallas; niece, Jennifer Kelly Subin and husband Kenneth of Tyler; nephew, James Howard Kelly and wife Suzy of Waskom; niece, Brenda Karen Becknal and husband Rick of Flint; niece, Linda Kay Kelly of Flint; and niece, Diana Lee Kelly of Oak Cliff. Jimmie had many great-nieces and great-nephews, and countless friends. Jimmie’s very best friend, however, was her kitty, Lilly.

Jimmie loved the Lord as her Savior and is now resting with her beloved son.

A private family memorial will be held later, in honor of Jimmie.
