Joe Thomas Glenn Jr, age 65, of Bullard, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday the 21st day of August 2025. He was born on the 6th day of July 1960 in Tyler, Texas to Joe Thomas Glenn Sr. and Rebecca Magee.
Joe’s life was rich with passions—he found peace in fishing, joy in working with horses, and creative fulfillment in shaping wood and leather with his hands. His artistic spirit shone through everything he touched.
Joe is survived by his loving children Kathy Glenn (Lyndsey Olivarez) of Pflugerville, Kelly Glenn (Mickey Doucette) of San Antonio, Kevin Cox (Sarah) of Tyler, Krista Cox of San Antonio, Karla Cox of San Antonio; grandchildren Ethan, Eric, Elliot, and Jaidyn; mother Rebecca Glenn of Bullard, sister Becky Johnson of Bullard, brother Billy Glenn (Leah) of Palestine, sister Dianne Glenn of Nacogdoches, and brother William Glenn (Tina) of Bullard; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
He will be missed tremendously, but there is so much comfort in knowing that he is at peace in Heaven with his Lord and Savior.
He is preceded in death by his father Joe Thomas Glenn Sr. and brother-in-law Robert Johnson.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from six o’clock until eight in the evening on Tuesday, the 26th day of August 2025 at Boren-Conner Funeral Home.
A funeral service and celebration of his life is to be conducted at ten o’clock in the morning on Wednesday, the 27th day of August 2025, at Boren-Conner Funeral Home, where Brother Mike Blumn will officiate.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Billy Glenn, William Glenn, Ravean Johnson, Randy Johnson, Rayford Johnson, and Danny Fountain.

Internment to follow at Loftin Cemetery in Teaselville, Texas.
