Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the church. Judy Belle Ralson was born Jan. 6, 1941, and went to be with the Lord on June 4, 2015. Judy was born in Fannin County to William Russell Hodges and Dora May Wassom. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Russell Hodges and Joe Charles Hodges; one sister, Betty Lou Runnels; and her niece, Sandra McKinney. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, John Ralson along with six children: sons, Rodger Ralson and wife Karen, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, James Ralson and his wife D'Ann, of Greenville, Douglas Ralson and wife Irene, of Carnes, Mississippi; daughters, Elizabeth Soriano and husband Tom, of Troup, Tracy Jordan and husband Gary, of Bullard, Stephanie Ralson, of Fort Smith, Arkansas. She has 14 grandchildren and 16 greatgrandchildren. Judy had a great love of her Lord and served Him at an early age as pianist at the Ravenna Christian Church. Judy loved playing the piano and continued serving as pianist at numerous churches. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bullard, where she spent her time working with the women's card ministry, fellowship committee and benevolence committee. Judy loved children and taught children's Sunday school and CEF classes for many years and loved on the babies in the nursery. She spent many hours gardening, cooking for others, playing card games with family and friends. She cherished her family dearly. The legacy that has she left behind for us as an example of how to love and care for others is immeasurable. She will be remembered most for her sweet smile and the warmth, care and love she showed to everyone. She never met a stranger and would strike up a conversation with anyone she came in contact with, especially with children. A ministry close to her heart was Child Evangelism Fellowship. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to CEF of Pineywoods in Tyler; or the building fund of First Baptist Church of Bullard.
