Katherine “Kitty” Cole was taken to heaven by the angels on August 25, 2026. She would have turned 103 on November 11, 2026. She was loved so much by her family and her friends.

She loved bowling, gardening, and making beautiful Christmas stockings for each member of her family. We cherish them and display them every year. They will mean even more to us this Christmas. She was a dedicated volunteer for East Texas Medical Center. Much later in life, she gave her time and stewardship as a Nursery worker to Christ Episcopal Church and Pleasant Hills Baptist Church. She adored babies and caring for them.

Kitty was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on November 11, 1923 to Sam and Katherine Scaduto. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Felice, and her husband W.R. Cole, and infant grandchild Jennifer Ann.

She is survived by her children Linda Haas, Rick Cole  and his wife Joan , Colleen Martin, and Phil Cole, her grandchildren Cindy Pallas, Rachel Cole Townley, Jordan Cole, Katie Allen and her husband Justin, and many great grandchildren.

We want to extend our gratitude to “Heart to Heart” Hospice for the love, compassion and great care they gave to our Mother during her final months. Also, we appreciate Boren-Conner Funeral Home, Bullard, Texas.

The family is planning a private graveside service provided by Christ Episcopal Church with Father Cole Hartin presiding. The day and time is still pending for this interment service.
