Services for Larry Dean Ellis, 62, Bullard, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at Boren-Conner Funeral Home in Bullard, with the Rev. Roy Thoene officiating. Burial will be in Cates Family Cemetery in Bullard. Mr. Ellis was born March 22, 1953, and passed away June 14, 2015. Larry attended Bullard High School. He was an avid race car fan and enjoyed them with family and friends. He was employed at American Plastic Plate. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Kathy Grimes Ellis; a son, Cory Scott Ellis, of Kempner; daughter, Tina Maria Allen and husband Destra, of Kempner; and two grandchildren, Dale Allen and Taylor Allen. He is also survived by one brother, James Ralph Ellis Jr. and wife Phyllis, Irvington, Alabama; sister-in-law, Judy Ellis, of Mount Selman; sisters, Kay Hendrix and husband J.C., of Whitehouse, and Gayla Johnson and husband Travis, of Hot Springs, Arkansas. Larry had many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brother-in-law who loved him very much. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Ralph Ellis Sr. and Lois Ellis; and in-laws, Raymond and Katie Grimes. Pallbearers will be Tim King, Jimmy Siler, Donny Dennis, Jason Hendrix, Mike Hendrix and Eddie Siler.
