Laura Nell McCoy, 62, of Chandler, Texas, passed away on March 14, 2026.

Laura was born on September 5, 1963 in Tyler, Texas to Carl Ray McKinney and Glenda Joyce (Thompson) McKinney.

Laura spent her childhood in the same home in Chandler. She spent several years working as a manicurist with many loyal clients. She adored her grandkids and spent as much time with her family as she could. She enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing. She would not pass up the opportunity to go shopping for a new purse or pair of shoes. She also loved watching the NFR and Texas Rangers any time they were on.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Ray McKinney and Glenda Joyce (Thompson) McKinney, and sisters, Mickey Leopard and Janice “J.J.” Mosely.

She is survived by her children, Casey McCoy and wife Morgan of Chandler, Shelby McCoy and wife Delani of Lindale; grandchildren, Maverick McCoy, Layton McCoy, Josie Gilpatrick and Langley McCoy; and brothers, Alton “Bubba” McKinney and his wife Shonda, Mike McKinney and his wife Tammy, and Darryl McKinney and his wife Pandy.
