Funeral services for Linda Marie Bland Johnson will be held Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at 10:00AM,  in the Chapel of Boren-Conner Funeral Home, Jacksonville with Jimmy Stewart officiating.   Burial will follow at McDonald Cemetery.

Linda Tipton Bland Johnson was born May 31, 1944 in Jacksonville to W. R. and Marie Murray Tipton.  She had worked at Mexia State School and was a member of Whitney Church of Christ Church.  She died on April 1, 2021 at her residence.  She was 76.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Michelle Bland and brother, Waylon Tipton.

Linda is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Stuart and Ann Bland of Jacksonville, a daughter, Kim Porter of Encinitas, California, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Amanda Scruggs, Matt Scruggs, Gentry Hammons and Alex McKnight.  Honorary pallbearers will be Shelby Stewart and Taylor McAdoo.

Visitation will be at 9:00 A.M. before the funeral service at Boren-Conner Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
