Memorial Services for Linda Ruth Herrin Bundick will be held Monday February 7, 2022 11:00 at Boren Conner Funeral Home in Bullard Texas with Pastor Bryan Grant officiating. Visitation with family will be held one hour prior to service.
Linda was born January 4th 1943 in Tyler, Texas to the late Oren and Helen Herrin and passed away January 30, 2022 at Briarcliff Nursing Center.
Linda spent her childhood to early adult years in Arp, Texas as a member of Arp Emmanuel Baptist Church, attending Arp Schools and graduating from Arp High School in 1961. Linda married Albert Bundick on November 24, 1965 in Arp and moved to Tyler where she raised her family and spent many years doing what she loved best, loving on and rocking babies through her employment with The Gregory Center, First Baptist Church Child Development Center and Green Acres Early Education Center. Along with her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband Albert in 2000 and her sister Carolyn McDougal in 2011.
Linda is survived by her son Terry Bundick of Tyler, Texas and his children Justin and wife Pricilla Sturgis and their children Gabe, Lydia and Elijah of Lafayette Lousiana, daughter Jessica Bundick and her son Caleb of Tyler, Texas daughter Stacy and her husband Ben Champion of Little Elm, Texas , their daughters Sarah Busby and husband Wes of Little Elm, Texas daughter Laura Champion and fiancé Austin Pritchett and their son James of Gilmer, Texas and daughter Vickie Bundick of Tyler Texas.
Linda is also survived by her sister Joy Savage of Longview, Texas, brother Jerry Herrin of Spring, Texas, brother and sister-in-law Terry and Marsha Herrin of Palestine, Texas, brother-in law Harold McDougal of Troup Texas, Aunt, Dorothy Weathers of Troup, Texas and sister by heart, Jeanne Hermon of Tyler, Texas
Throughout her years in Tyler, Linda was a member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church, Heritage Baptist Church, First Baptist Church and Green Acres Baptist Church.
