Maria Elizabeth Tristan, 53, of Chandler, passed away on Saturday afternoon, August 22, 2026, surrounded by family that loved her dearly. A Funeral Ceremony will be held on Wednesday afternoon, August 26, 2026, at Boren-Conner Funeral Home in Bullard, to being at 3:00pm. A visitation will begin at 2:00pm prior to the service. Pastor Jose Robles will officate the service.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Maria Elizabeth Tristan, age 53, of Chandler, Texas, who passed away on August 22, 2026 surrounded by the love of her family and friends.

Maria was born on March 19, 1973 in Reynosa, Tamaulipas to Loreto Federico Sanchez and Teodula Sanchez. Throughout her life, she was known for her kindness, strength, love and contagious laughter. She had a way of making those around her feel loved and cared for, and her family was always at the center of her world.

Above all else, Maria treasured her family. She was a devoted mother, sister, mother-in-law, friend, and some of her greatest joy came from the time she spent with the people she loved. Whether it was cooking for everyone, spending time with her family, dancing, taking pictures, celebrating holidays, it was often the simple moments together that meant the most to her.

Those who knew Maria will remember her for her beautiful smile, contagious laugh and loving heart. She loved the color red, being outside, cumbias, worshipping God, working and she brought laughter and light into the lives of so many people. Her strength, love, and the memories she created with her family will continue to live on through all who were fortunate to know her.

Maria is survived by her children; Son Carlos Tristan and daughter-in-law Arely Velasquez, Son Christian Tristan and daughter-in-law McKenzie Gourley, 4-legged son Romo Tristan; Siblings Federico, Arturo, Ricardo, Maria Blanca; Numerous nieces and nephews, and many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

She was preceded in death by her father Loreto Federico Sanchez, mother Teodula Sanchez, and brothers Jorge and Alejandro.

Although our hearts are broken by her absence, we are grateful for the years, memories, laughter, and love we were blessed to share with her. Maria was deeply loved, and the impact she made on her family and friends will remain with us always. Her memory will live on in the stories we tell, the traditions we carry forward, and the love she gave so freely.

Con gran pesar, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Maria Elizabeth Tristan, de 53 años, de Chandler, Texas, quien falleció el 22 de agosto de 2026 rodeada del amor de su familia y amigos.

Maria nació el 19 de marzo de 1973 en Reynosa, Tamaulipas, hija de Loreto Federico Sanchez y Teodula Sanchez. A lo largo de su vida, fue conocida por su bondad, fortaleza, amor y risa contagiosa. Tenía una manera especial de hacer que quienes estaban a su alrededor se sintieran amados y cuidados, y su familia siempre fue el centro de su mundo.

Por encima de todo, Maria atesoraba a su familia. Fue una madre, hermana, suegra y amiga dedicada, y algunas de sus mayores alegrías provenían del tiempo que pasaba con las personas que amaba. A Maria le sobreviven sus hijos: su hijo Carlos Tristan y su nuera Arely Velasquez; su hijo Christian Tristan y su nuera McKenzie Gourley; su hijo de cuatro patas, Romo Tristan; sus hermanos Federico, Arturo, Ricardo y Maria Blanca; numerosos sobrinos y sobrinas, así como muchos familiares y queridos amigos que la extrañarán profundamente.

Le precedieron en la muerte su padre, Loreto Federico Sanchez; su madre, Teodula Sanchez; y sus hermanos Jorge y Alejandro.
