Marjorie Thomason, 91, passed away peacefully in her sleep early Friday morning November 28, 2025. After graduating high school in Carlinville, Illinois, she joined the U.S. Air Force and was stationed at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, where she met and married her husband, Max. Together, they had five children and lived in New Orleans, Shreveport, and ultimately settled in Dialville, TX in 1970.
Marjorie worked as an accounts payable clerk at Bealls General Office for 20 years before retiring to spend time with her grandchildren and travel. She visited all 50 states and parts of Canada and was known for her vivid storytelling and attention to detail about her journeys.
She cherished her family, including four children, ten grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren, with another on the way. Marjorie enjoyed traveling, reading, games, puzzles, movies, bird watching and cooking for family gatherings, especially during holidays. She was the homemade cookie & treats queen.
