Graveside services for Martha Ann Jeffrey, age 70, of Rusk, Texas will be held Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at the Union Grove Cemetery, Maydelle, Texas, with Bro. Jack White officiating.  Visitation will begin at 1:30 at the cemetery prior to the graveside service.  Services are under the direction of Boren-Conner Funeral Home.

Martha was born July 6, 1952 in Jacksonville and resided in the Jacksonville area her entire life.  She went to be with her Lord on November 26, 2022 in Dallas, Texas.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Lee and Margie Blake Morris, her husband, John Morris Jeffrey, her sons, John Farmer Jeffery and Jessie White Jeffrey, daughter, Sonya Jeffrey, brother, David Morris and sister, Alice Clayborne.

Martha is survived by three daughters, Martha N. Jeffrey of Rusk, Charlotte Sherman of Gilmer and Cassandra Akins of Higgins, Texas, one sister Carolyn Sue Tant of Jacksonville, brothers, Roy “Buck” Morris, Ronnie Morris and Kevin Morris, all of Jacksonville, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Martha will greatly be missed by everyone who knew her.
