Marvin Allen Hart, 68, of Lindale, TX, peacefully entered the presence of the Lord on July 10, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born on June 11, 1958 in Dallas, Texas to Paul and Virginia Hart, Marvin's testimony was built over decades shaping his heart to help others and share his love for the lord. As a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, he trusted God's promises and sought to reflect His love through kindness, compassion, and generosity. Marvin was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who found purpose through his faith in Jesus, spending time with family and friends, his work as a business owner and entrepreneur and a multitude of adventurous hobbies. He touched countless lives with his bold spirit, unwavering faith, and willingness to help others.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Virginia Hart.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 48 years, Debra; his two daughters Jillian and husband Karl Koelker and Amanda and husband Matthew Cartwright; his grandchildren Preston, Pierson, Maverick, Maximilian and Walter. Also to cherish his memory are siblings Les Hart and wife Pam, Ted Hart and wife Jennifer and Sherry Hart; brother-in-law, Chad Brewer and many other family and friends.

While our hearts grieve this earthly loss, we rejoice in the assurance that Marvin is now at peace in the presence of our Savior. As Marvin's favorite Bible verse reminds us, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." - ‭‭John‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬ ‭ESV‬‬

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at 2:00pm at Grace Community Church in Lindale located at 15567 Wood Springs Road, Lindale, TX 75771. There will be time during the memorial, for those who would like to share a brief memory, story or message. Please join in honoring Marvin by wearing his favorite color, purple, or a Pink Floyd t-shirt.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be made to Highway 80 Rescue Mission at P.O. Box 3223, Longview, TX 75606 honoring Marvin's commitment to faith and service.
