A Celebration of Life will be Monday, December 9, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at First Assembly of God, Teague, Texas.

Michael loved Nascar, fishing and sports, especially women’s basketball.

He loved his family very much. He married Donna Sue Loftin when they were both 18 years old and had over 48 years together until her departure, July 16, 2014. They lived in San Diego, Colorado and Texas, making their home in Buffalo, Texas in 1996.

He has been friends with Gloria Tunget for over 30 years and they married each other on April 12, 2015.

Mike was a truck driver with Teamsters for over 20 years. He, along with his family were western wear liquidators. After moving to Buffalo, he was a carpenter by trade, even drawing blueprints.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Jean Riley; Sons, Michael Warren Riley & wife Christie of Teague, and Gary Allen Riley & wife Kim of Buffalo.

Grandchildren, Michael Carl Riley & wife Brittnee, Coty Allen Riley & wife Amanda, Jack Warren Riley and Charlie Dunn, Brandy Beshears, Crystal May, Nicole May & David Caldwell; Sixteen Great-Grandchildren and Six Great Great-Grandchildren; Special Nephew, Charlie White and Numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Donna, and sister-in-law, Joann Nowlen.
