Minnie Lee Ashley McMichael Roberts (3/1/1936 – 1/14/2024)

A graveside memorial service will be held March 2, 2024 at Jarrett Cemetery.  Minnie was born on March 1, 1936 to William Aaron and Cora (Bland) Ashley. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Larry H. McMichael and Billy A. McMichael, two great grandchildren, Samuel D. Blakeney and Jordee M. Hulstine, two sisters, Jettie Louise Lusk and Eloise Ashley.

She is survived by four sons, Johnny McMichael and wife Tonya, Lester McMichael of Jacksonville, Texas, James F. Roberts, Corey L. Roberts of Missouri, two daughters, Vikki L. Bachus, Pennie L. McMichael of Jacksonville, Texas, six sisters, Barbara Sexton, Betty Grant, Patricia Anderson, Shirley Harmon, Lola Lang, and Linda Freeman, twenty grand-children, numerous great grand-children, and nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express sincere gratitude to the nurses and caregivers at Jacksonville Health Care and Hospice of East Texas for the love and care given to our Mother.  Special thanks to Lisa and Laura.
