Nancy Lynn Schmidt passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday morning of December 27, 2022 in Bullard, TX with all the love possible. She was born on August 31, 1962 in Fergus Falls, MN to parents Robert and LaVon Knutson with a sister Mary and brother Tim.

Nancy has always been a very shy, quiet and sweet person that always lent a listening ear, had the prettiest smile and always loved to pull a prank or two. She came to Texas at the age of 18 and married Mark Schmidt of Fergus Falls, MN in 1981. Together they had three children Charlie, Cristen and Corey. Nancy has always been a great wife, mother and friend. Before her sudden injury she worked at Cardinal Health a medical supply company in Jacksonville, TX for nearly 20 years which she really loved.

Nancy will be lovingly missed and remembered by Mary(David Dickey of Wahpeton, ND), Mark Schmidt; children: Charlie Schmidt, Cristen (Blaine Treadwell of Bullard, TX), Corey(Danielle Schmidt of Flint,TX); grandchildren: Aubrey and Austen Treadwell and  Laken Schmidt, Charles Schmidt (brother-in-law)  along with numerous family members and friends. Dawn Gehrke sister-in-law of Elbow Lake, MN

She is preceded in death by Robert, LaVon, Tim Knutson of Fergus Falls, MN, both grandparents and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A celebration of Nancy's life will be held in the spring in Fergus Falls, MN, burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery.
