Olegario C. Barboza, 83, of Jacksonville, passed away early Sunday morning, December 7, 2025. A Funeral Ceremony will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, at Iglesia Bautista Alfa y Omega Church in Rusk, to begin at noon. A visition will begin at 11:00am prior to the service. Pastor Rafel Flores will officate the service. Interment will be held at Rocky Springs Cemetery in Dialville.

Olegario was born in Mexico on April 1, 1942, to parents Fermin and Maria Barboza. Olegario married the love of his life Imelda Barboza - and together they created a beautiful family. Olegario was proud of his family and worked hard as a Dairy Farmer to provide.

Olegario is preceeded by his Father, Fermin Barboza, Mother, Maria Castanon, Daughter, Fidencia Barboza, and Sister, Elvira Barboza.

Olegario is survived by his loving Wife, Imelda Barboza, Son, Olegario Castilleja, Son, Alejandro Barboza, Son, Rojelio Barboza, Son, Olegario Barboza, Jr., Son, Juan Fermin Barboza, Daughter, Rita Imelda Barboza, Daughter, Matilde Barboza, Daughter, Maria Cristina Barboza, Daughter, Florentina Elizabeth Barboza, Brother, Raymundo Barboza, Sister, Maria Barboza, Sister, Virginia Barboza, Sister, Susana Barboza, Sister, Herlinda Barboza, 20 Grandchildren, and 4 Great-Grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Alejandro Barboza, Olegario Barboza Jr., Juan Barboza, Modesto Garcia, Jose Galvan, Christopher Barboza Jr., Caleb Barboza, and Canaan Johnson.
