In Loving Memory of Paul Edward Hoover Jr

Paul Edward Hoover Jr of Frankston, Texas passed away on October 24,2024 at home

surrounded by family at the age of 53

Paul E. Hoover Jr was born on April 30,1971 in Killeen, Texas to Paul Edward Hoover Sr and

Betty Jo Scott. Paul went to Monticello High School in Monticello, AR where he graduated in

1988. After high school Paul enlisted in the United States Military. He served 15 years

including Dessert Storm. In 2003 Paul received an Honorable Discharge from the United

States Army. Since exiting the army Paul worked various jobs but his true passion was driving

semi-trucks across the United States. The last 8 years he was heavy haul specialized with

ATS. Paul ended his career with ATS in 2022 after being diagnosed with Stage 4 Prostate Cancer.

On March 28,2007 Paul married the love of his life and soulmate Karen Glavin-Hoover. The

couple have been married for 18 years. They enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and working

together on the road. Paul also enjoyed spending time with his daughter, Son in law, and

three grandkids.

Paul is survived by his wife Karen Glavin-Hoover of Frankston Texas, Daughter Brittany

(Brandon) Fowler, three grandkids Kennedi Harness, Braylon Harness, Brailee Fowler all of

Star City AR, Stepson Anthony Christopher of Winnsboro, Texas, three brothers Charlie

(Melanie) Hoover, Wayne (Michelle) Hoover and Robert Hoover all of Monticello AR.

Paul was a loving husband, father, papaw, brother and friend. He was loved by many and will

be deeply missed by his family and friends.
