Randel Wayne Furlong, 62, was one of a kind—equal parts speed, laughter, and heart. He lived life in the fast lane, and if there was fun to be had, Randy was already there.
He was married for 34 wonderful years to the love of his life, Sharla Furlong, and together they built a loud, loving family that he was endlessly proud of. He leaves behind his five daughters—Tonya Thomas, Shelley Fanning, Becky Furlong, Melissa Ross, and Sara Evans—as well as 10 grandchildren, who knew him as a man who loved big, laughed hard, and never missed a chance to enjoy the moment.
Randel loved driving fast, living boldly, and loved that he didn't fit the mold of society. He believed life was meant to be enjoyed, and he made sure to always do what he loved. He was a man with a generous heart—someone who would truly give the shirt off his back or a roof over the head of anyone who needed it.
Randel wouldn't want tears without smiles, so while he will be missed beyond words, those who loved him will remember him best by laughing often, loving fully, and maybe driving just a little too fast—just like he did.
