Shirley Ann Brown, 71, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2025. Born on January 20, 1954, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family above all else.

Shirley was a dedicated homemaker who enjoyed crocheting and sewing, hobbies that brought her great joy and allowed her to create cherished memories for those she loved. Though reserved by nature, she found her greatest happiness in the company of her family and friends.

Shirley was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Jack Brown, and her mother, Mary Elizabeth Parrish. She is survived by her children: David Michael Weaver-Brown, Elizabeth Ann Brown (and significant other Jack), Michelle Clay (and husband Billy), and Carmen Brotherton. She is also survived by her siblings: Richard Garrett (and wife Venita), Daniel Brooks (and wife Stacey), and Terri Brooks. Shirley was a proud grandmother to 10 grandchildren and a great-grandmother to 6 great-grandchildren. Her faithful dog, Missy, was also by her side through many years of companionship.

In accordance with her wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. Shirley will be remembered for her quiet strength, her love for her family, and the beautiful things she created with her hands.
